Jennifer Sherlock is the co-owner of Firvale Wilderness Camp, where she combines her passion for hospitality, design, and the outdoors to create unforgettable guest experiences. As Firvale’s Events Manager and Wedding Planner, Jennifer works closely with every couple and group, transforming each celebration into a personalized wilderness experience that feels both effortless and deeply meaningful.
Her creative eye is behind much of Firvale’s signature aesthetic. From the design of the resort and its accommodations to the décor, floral styling, and intimate event spaces, Jennifer has helped shape the camp into one of British Columbia’s most unique wilderness destinations.
Before launching Firvale Wilderness Camp, Jennifer owned the well-known Caravan Beach Shop in Tofino and remains a partner in The Shoreline Tofino, a boutique hotel on Vancouver Island’s west coast. Her background in tourism, retail, and boutique hospitality has given her a unique understanding of creating memorable guest experiences, whether welcoming honeymooners, families, or corporate retreat groups.
When she isn’t planning weddings or styling the resort, Jennifer can often be found guiding guests on local hikes throughout the Bella Coola Valley or exploring the forests in search of wild mushrooms. An enthusiastic forager and nature lover, she enjoys sharing her knowledge of the region’s incredible ecosystems and helping visitors connect with the landscape in a meaningful way.
